Cable Chain Mount
thingiverse
This is a redesigned cable chain mount for the Tronxy X5S, but can be applied to any CoreXY cube. When the new X5S release arrives, users will find that the connector block has been removed and the cables are soldered together. Unfortunately, Tronxy made the cables too short, necessitating a complete rewire of the system. This mount features an integrated cable management box to resolve this issue. It provides space for installing a solder tag strip inside, and as shown in the accompanying photo, I also utilized a terminal block for hot end cables to simplify hot swapping. Additionally, a boom arm has been added to keep the Bowden tube away from the Y stepper on the Tronxy, which helps prevent tube sagging and fouling with the cable chain. To assemble this mount, you will need: M2 screws (4 x 5mm), M3 screws (4 x 10mm - computer case blanking plate screws were used), an M3 nut and bolt (40mm), and cable strain relief components.
