Cable chain in horizontal
pinshape
Chain accessories are needed to rotate the carriage X chain horizontally in Prusa printers. A common issue with Prusa Steel is that when printing tall figures, the chain touches the frame at the top. This can be resolved by placing the chain in a horizontal position. The parts that catch the chain are a modified version of those found on http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:949617. These parts grab onto the extruder's motor, and I use samelladruker's extruder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:976653) for this purpose. There are two versions available for these parts. The first version is simpler in design but requires two long thin screws. If standard screws are used, the second version can be employed which utilizes a single hole located at the front of the printer.
