Cable chains are reworked to perfectly fit onto Openbuilds V-slot rail systems or similar 20mm extruded aluminum railing types. To make the fit perfect, the chain's width is scaled down to 20mm in sync with the rails. Furthermore, the end pieces are tweaked to securely accept a single M5x8mm bolt at each corner. Fasteners such as M5x8mm Flathead bolts and an M5 square nut from Steel Grade metric hardware or online fastener retailers like MR Metric make secure attachment points possible at both ends. The use of M30838 steel-grade 4-8 zinc-plated M5 x 8 mm flat-head screw from reliable manufacturers such as MR Metric or online marketplaces is an example. And the square nut is similar to Sc4z metric square nuts that are found at MR Metric online store (part number: M53065).
