To reduce expenses in restoring a cable car, the initial plan of using an electric tram wheel pattern was abandoned due to high casting costs. Since cable cars only roll and brake, lighter original wheels were more suitable and cost-effective, as casting costs are based on metal weight. Another option is considering CNC machining profile cut blanks for the wheelset.
