Cable Box for LED Strip

Printing it in transparent may not be the most effective way to hide cables but you'll get the idea. I mounted an LED strip at a very visible place, around my bed and wanted to conceal the cable spaghetti at the end. For several reasons, I needed it to be both stable and soft-cornered with no hard edges to hurt my back or a recess where the screw goes in. That's how I envisioned it. On one side, an opening for a 12x3.5 mm LED strip in a silicon tube, and on the other side, a 4mm hole for a round cable. I needed it that way (Actually it's more like 2 and 5 o'clock in the picture because I turned it a bit to straighten the strip). This thing has a bottom with some sockets to fix the incoming cables with screws but I found out I wouldn't need them. You can add holes into it to screw the bottom into the wall first, then fix the cables and finally add the top cover. But I fixed everything in one go using a 40mm x 3,5 mm spex screw. YMMV, freeCAD sources are included so you can modify it all around to your liking. Have fun! And if you have sharp eyes, you might spot an almost invisible LED strip clip https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4167059 hiding in plain sight. I printed it without support, 0.2/0.3 mm layer height and it came out okay. Update: The box got a little companion for the other end of the LED strip. And another one, sizewise medium. I added a second version of the freeCAD source with a little parametric which helps a lot changing the size.
