To secure a latched closure on an Ikea Stave mirror that initially lacked such a feature, the original latch was modified. The Stave mirror comes with hinges but no latch; thus, the latch required slight offset mounting to prevent contact with the hinge mounts. Trimming down the catch's height by 3mm could be an alternative solution.
