Cabinet Knob Drill Guide

I had to install cabinet knobs on new kitchen cabinets. The only way to ensure uniformity was to make a jig. This worked with the cabinets I have, centering knob, left-to-right on the stile and 3 inches from the top, or bottom (depending on upper or lower cabinet). I printed on as-is and the other mirrored. I printed in PLA since it was strong enough and lasted through all the cabinets I needed. I'd re-check the hole with the drill bit to verify it hadn't gained any slop. When I drilled the hole, I used 5/32" drill bit and would just start the hole in the cabinet. I'd go about 1/8" deep, then remove the guide and drill the rest with a backing board (to prevent splintering on the backside of the hole. Probably goes without saying, but ensure the drill is perpendicular to the cabinet as much as possible!
