Cabinet Filament Spool Holder
thingiverse
I'm a big fan of the IKEA Stuva as a ready to go cabinet for 3D printers. I recently got myself a Bambu Lab printer and there was unfortunately no more space for the spool within the cabinet (and the spool holder is in the back which is super inconvenient, so I designed this so hold the spool on the outside of the cabinet and use an extra long PTFE tube to route the filament to the extruder. The idea is having two back to back universal mounting plates that can be used to secure attachements, like a spool holder on the outside and a box for tools on the inside. As for the spool holder, I was rather concerned about the strength of the shaft, so I added provisions for three M4x110mm to give it strength. You'll need - 4 Four M4x40mm bolts - 3 Three M4x110mm bolts - 7 Seven M4 square nuts (7mm) - 3 Three M4 brass inserts (for the universal holder) The filament pass through requires a 10mm hole, and the wall of the Stuva is 17mm thick. Enjoy.
