Cabinet Door Child Safety Latch

I fashioned a catch for the cabinet doors beneath our kitchen sink. The initial prototype relied on friction to keep it secure, but my 11-month-old son managed to dislodge it within two days. In response, I created a part with sliding bars to hold it in place. Future revisions may incorporate springs, which could be repurposed from mechanical pencils to reduce waste.
