Iconic landmark for the city of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, is a head of the Sacred Ruler of B'aakal, now known as the archaeological site of Palenque, located in northern state: famous Maya lord Pakal "the Great", which was characterized by having promoted the growth of architectural work in Palenque and by starting the hieroglyphic records of his dynastic history.
