The "Head of Hispania" is a beautiful female bust in marble originating from the Roman site of Munigua (Mulva), near Villanueva del Rio and Minas, currently housed at the archaeological museum in Seville. This exceptional bust was discovered in 1960 in the pool of the frigidarium's baths. The bust generated special interest. Following a detailed analysis, it was established that it is most likely a representation of a nymph or possibly Aphrodite/Venus, embedded within the sculptural program of the thermal building. The size of this piece measures 38 cm tall, 22 cm wide, and 23 cm deep.
