I used an adapter that I mounted on another camera mount found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2999877. My remix of it can be seen here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3759353. This adapter removed the bottom pivot of the original model and replaced it with a pad featuring a tapped 1/4-20 hole to accept standard tripod mounts effectively.
