C920 Camera Mount with 1/4-20 bolt and C920 adapter
thingiverse
This is my custom take on BigAl1410's design for a C920 camera mount. I made two key changes (maybe 2.5). I'll try to post this as a remix later today. I redesigned the camera socket from scratch, embedding a short 1/4-20 hex head bolt into a groove instead of using the 1/4-20 threaded stud printed at the top of the original design. I created a custom adapter for the C920 since I no longer have the hinged part of the camera. This adapter requires disassembling the camera to mount it to internal attachment holes inside, secured with four small screws. To fit the two larger flat nuts for the camera socket, I scaled them up by 2% in the X and Y axes (not Z), as they were too tight otherwise. This increase worked out well. One thing this model lacks is the ability to tilt the camera up or down, which I may address with a new adapter if needed. I used a 1/4-20 x 1/2" long hex head bolt. Please use the remaining files from BigAl1410's version linked above. You might want to scale the two large flat nuts up in X and Y by 2% for better fit, but this could be a printer-specific issue.
