C9 Bulb 8mm high base

This is a C9 cover design created to snap over 12mm RGB pixels used for Christmas Lighting. The base measures 8mm high, making it possible to insert both flat square pixels and round nodes far enough to illuminate the bulb. All covers in the photos were printed with natural ABS, but clear or translucent ones would work just as well. These C9 covers are designed as close to the traditional size and basic shape as possible. Print Settings Printer: FlashForge Pro Dual Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm or 0.1mm Infill: NO Notes: When using Simplify 3D, a simple brim is enough to hold these covers to the plate. If you're not using S3D, a raft is nearly necessary. Post-Printing Before printing numerous sets of these, ensure that the base hole fits precisely to snap onto your pixels. Snap onto pixel and enjoy.
