C7 Style LED Pixel Cover with Nubs
thingiverse
My first thing post... This remix of Lithgowlights C7 cover, found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:892479, is a phenomenal design. David's height-to-width ratio looks incredibly natural to me, not short and fat or stubby, and it fits perfectly compared with other C7/C9 designs out there. While they fit snugly around a 12mm pixel, I wanted all of them to be uniform in depth and also usable when mounted to Boscoyo strips, so I added nubs to the inner 12mm rim that catch on the 12mm pixel groove. I utilized the nubs from keith204's thing at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3331268. I pulled it into Slicer and ungrouped the model, overlaying the nubs with Lithgowlights C7 model. I also included a 3mf Cura file with the model laid out in an 8x8 grid for 64 printing at one time. It was created for an Ender 3 or 230 x 230 bed size.
