I discovered that the original design fits like a glove, but it's actually intended for a Toyota Celica from 1985. To my surprise, I found that the cup holder in my Chevrolet C4 Corvette shares a striking resemblance with it, allowing me to use my large tumbler in the smaller opening without any issues.
