Case study experiment in "Repair using 3D printing" involves a comprehensive scan of the iron's backside, with restored missing geometry in clay, captured from multiple altitude angles using the camera. The strategy employed is 3D scanning, utilizing Remake software on a rotating platform within a light tent. A Canon EOS 100D camera paired with a 50mm lens captured 48 photos.
