C270 Webcam mount for FlashForge Creator Pro
thingiverse
Logitech C270 mount designed specifically for FlashForge Creator Pro and similar 3D printers, thoroughly tested on the FFCP. This design was a game-changer because it allowed me to position my camera just like I'm actually watching it. Plus, someone had already created a detachable part, so I modified the design to work seamlessly with the C270. To achieve this unique design, I used 1/2" Pex pipe (.625" OD) along with a 90° elbow for the beam portions. This way, all I needed to model was the end cap adapters for the Pex pipe. The actual part that attaches to the C270 is conveniently located here, and it's great because it allows you to adjust the camera vertically and horizontally. Since this part relies on my design to mount onto the printer, I based my Pex end cap design off of that. If you're confused about what parts are needed for this innovative design, just look below. Parts required to print: 1 x Hanger 1 x Pex Base 1 x Pex End 1 x C270 Mount Parts to purchase: 1 x 1/2" Pex pipe (The horizontal and vertical Pex pipe lengths I used were 4.75" and 2" respectively, but the best part is that you can cut it to your desired lengths.) 1 x 1/2" Pex pipe elbow Notes: Although the C270 Mount uses the original hinge pin, it doesn't have enough friction with the mount itself, so it'll just flop around. You can use your own screw/nut to tighten it once you've got the camera in the position you want, but I found it best to control the position with the USB cord and securing it with some velcro. Print Settings: Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 Infill: 20% Notes: The Hanger part needs supports, and depending on your printer's bridging capabilities, the "PEX END" part might need them too.
