c270 webcam bolt mount
thingiverse
This is a mount for the Logitech c270 webcam, perfect for attaching to just about anything. I required it to attach to a 20x40mm extrusion rail on my 3D printer, and it secures in place with a 3D printed bolt that can easily be removed and relocated as needed. I deliberately chose not to drill any holes anywhere to install the camera, so this mount simply screws down wherever required. The mount is incredibly solid and does not vibrate at all, making it ideal for mounting as a 3D printer camera, webcam, or security camera. Print Settings: Printer: C-bot coreXY Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 200 micron Infill: 35% Notes: Everything was placed in this plate to print as is. You don't need to move any of the files around or reorient them. However, you may need to print the files individually if your printer is poorly tuned. Some of the parts in the plate are very close together, and if your printer isn't set up right, it might struggle making all the pieces. Also, if your printer isn't well tuned, you may have trouble printing the bolt and clamp due to the threads. The bolt used in this model is the exact same as the Makerbolt, so if you can print the Makerbolt without a problem, you'll be fine. Post-Printing: You will need four M5 bolts and M5 nuts to connect the camera arms together. Once that's done, you can move them around as needed and tighten them down. How I Designed This: For this design, I merged the camera mount for the c270 webcam from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1159406 with the bolt clamp from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1159406. I made a minor adjustment to the clamp to make it larger so it would fit on a 20mm extrusion rail, and also made one of the camera arms slightly thinner.
