The Logitech C270 camera bed clamp is a makeshift solution that deserves some fine-tuning! I haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet, but I suspect it needs some work to get the results you want. In terms of assembly, the clamp uses an M3 20mm screw to hold everything together. Be careful not to overtighten it - that could lead to some serious damage! On the other hand, attaching the camera holder to the arm is a breeze with an M3 10mm screw. To get the best possible image, consider adding a fisheye or wide-angle lens to your setup. That should give you the kind of results you're looking for!
