I was eager for a straightforward stand that could function independently until I had time to create something more complex that attached directly to my printer's frame. QuackingPlums' innovative WebCam bracket design on Thingiverse really sparked my imagination, and I'm grateful for the inspiration - you can view it here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:701159. Although I built mine from scratch using Fusion360, I acknowledge that the initial concept was likely influenced by QuackingPlums' work, so he deserves credit where credit is due. My stand measures approximately 150mm in height, and I printed it with PLA material, utilizing a .04 nozzle and a .2 layer height without any supports. To print successfully, lay the model flat.
