C-Tug Strap Keeper
thingiverse
My kayak's C-Tug strap kept slipping off during transport on my Old Town Predator kayak, so I designed a simple keeper to secure the straps in place. To attach it, you'll need two #6 3/4 to 1" wood screws (preferably zinc or higher quality) to be installed at your preferred location. I suggest printing with at least three perimeters and a minimum of 30% infill to guarantee rigidity. While this might be overdoing it, the material difference is insignificant due to the part's small size.
