C.H.I.P. w/ OLED HAT case
thingiverse
C.H.I.P. is a fantastic little machine. To turn it into an incredibly versatile tool with multiple profiles, I crafted a HAT featuring an OLED display, several buttons, a USB to serial connector, and a MicroSD card slot. This case should offer some protection to the construction. UPDATE: v2 I upgraded the stability by doubling the outer shell thickness (now 2mm) and made some improvements on the connector side. The Eagle files for that DIP can be found at https://github.com/rumbero71/Chip-Multidip Print Settings Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: 20% Notes: This is my first version. Some measurements are not accurate enough (button hole placement, port cutouts), so I will undoubtedly enhance this. Also, my choice of the original 1mm wall thickness does not provide much protection, so I will switch to at least 2mm. 1mm also means that parts of the case tend to break away when trying to remove the necessary supports. How I Designed This I modified TheLost's original design in TinkerCad.
