C.H.I.P case
thingiverse
Inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1050735 but completely redesigned from scratch. That's it! It's working flawlessly for me. Please share your prints! Just be aware that "Boite Pocketchip battery v2" needs to be printed on its side. Once printed, you need to cut the thin border; it serves as a support and is slender enough to hold the piece in place while being easy to cut. I prefer the "Boite Pocketchip battery v2" as it can accommodate a battery within. With an old 1000mAh battery, I was able to make it run for over two hours, functioning as a Wi-Fi Access Point and captive Portal. Print Settings Printer: Vertex K8400 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 20 microns Infill: 5% Notes: Use BRIM for support; print vertically without any support. A light problem will occur around the GPIO connector, but there is space for that adjustment. How I Designed This I drew inspiration from CHIPbag for the lock on the upper side and from the original cover for the bottom. However, I completely recreated and adapted it to fit my specific needs. For now, I have made four prototypes; it's almost finished, but some corrections are still required.
