I wouldn't say this is nearly as convenient as Next Thing's plastic shields for the CHIP, but if you need something more rugged or mountable, this should serve nicely as an alternative. The tolerances are kept tight to accommodate rubber filament, and the small recess in the corner allows your screw of choice a secure grip. Even without it, my printed M3D model holds firmly to the board and won't fall out even with a good shake. Print Settings Printer: Micro M3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Highest Infill: Around 40% Notes: Sorry for not providing exact figures; I'm still using the default M3D software. However, I definitely do not recommend adding a raft as it gives you a broad surface to apply adhesive. Post-Printing There's some webbing and flash when printing with an M3D, but a quick one-two touch with a razor pen will take care of it.
