Video Overview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RW0C9vpFlBI See Another Version Here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4551658 This Device Is Designed for Professionals and Responsible Individuals Who Must Wear Masks for Hours at a Time. IMPORTANT NOTE: Read Post Printing Notes Carefully. Problem: The Typical Simple Ear Savers Slide Down the Neck and Maintain Tension Over the Ears, Causing Discomfort. I Wanted to Create a Device That Would Allow Zero Contact with the Elastic and Enable Quick and Easy Mask Removal and Replacement with One Hand. Solution: This Innovative Headband Comfortably Fits on Your Head, Providing Stable Anchor Points for Surgical Mask Loops and N95 Elastics Without Hurting Your Ears. You Can Easily Remove and Reattach the Surgical Mask with One Hand While Wearing Eye Protection. The Device Can Be Placed Over a Surgical Cap, Improving Face-to-Mask Seal. Always Appreciate Feedback and Ideas on How to Improve This Design. Please Leave Comments, and I'll Add Changes as Soon as Possible. Versions: - Originals: Uses a Snap Locking Mechanism (See Photos) with 2mm Thick Frames. - Version 3: Features Thinner Frames for Easier Bending with PLA, but Still Recommends Using PLA+ or PLA2 with Hot Water/Hair Dryer. The Peg/Hole Locking Mechanism Is Also Used to Connect the Headband Components, Which Are Printed Flat. These Changes Enhance Frame Flexibility and Strength, but May Require Larger Holes After Printing Using a Philips Head or File.
