C Extruder for MK8 gear and J-head

"C" stands for the shape of the extruder, a direct model ready for MK8 gear with a plate that holds the J-head using 2 screws. The NEMA 17 motor is used in this design. This extruder is derived from Greg's Wade Extruder and modified to fit a direct drive. The idler can be replaced with bearings, spring, and tension screws from the original model. A flexible plate with oval holes allows for easy attachment to the x-carriage. Instructions The extruder is printed in PLA at 60% infill for added strength with support material. All parts are printed as shown in these files. Printing a raft or brim can be beneficial for the part with a large base, providing stability and support for the motor. Metal and electronic components are identical to those used on my previous Greg's Wade extruder, except for the springs which have been upgraded for added strength. You will need to cut and file the idler holder on the main body of the extruder. Two versions of the main body extruder are provided: one with round holes and another with oval holes. The version with round holes offers precise alignment with the stepper motor, but may require careful removal of raft material for a good fit. The version with oval holes allows for some flexibility in adjusting the screws to achieve a perfect fit, even if the part is not perfectly printed.
