C Clamp and driver

C Clamp and driver

I can make bigger caps on purpose, so the Screw is intentionally short. This morning I created a driver to allow me to use my screw gun and loosen up the tightly fitted screw. A bit of sanding was required to get the driver to fit properly, but it now gets enough clearance to drive the screw in and out. Unfortunately, I broke the Screw, so I printed a new one with 50% infill gyroid and added a timelapse feature. I added a 29mm cap and a hex driver on October 19, 2019 at 1315, as I prefer not to put my printed parts directly into my screw gun due to the risk of them breaking off inside. At 1335, I added a Hex screw for wearing out the threads to the caps on October 19. I extended my design by adding an extension and a hex extension end at 1410 on October 19, as my printer can only produce prints up to 120mm tall, so I have to get creative with my designs. At 1400 on October 19, I added a 10mm cap with a hex base over the threads, and from now on, I will be using hex over thread for all of my prints. I will upload them as I complete each one. The original driver was printed with the hex shaft up and supports inside at 15% infill. In contrast, the Hex Driver is being printed with the hex down and no supports.
