C-Bot E3D Titan Extruder Carriage
thingiverse
This is a custom carriage for the C-Bot printer's E3D Titan Extruder, which utilizes the reliable E3D Titan Extruder. A comprehensive file has also been included for an adapter in case you opted not to purchase the bowden adapter when acquiring the extruder - though it's hardly necessary in this instance. Three distinct models of the front carriage have been designed. The first model features a mounting system specifically tailored for an 8mm inductive approach sensor, which comes housed within an 18mm body. A second model caters to the 4mm sensor, boasting a compact 12mm body. Meanwhile, the third model boasts no mounting system whatsoever. In addition to these front carriage designs, I've included a mount for AK Erik's fan shroud, version 2 (epfs_B02.stl). Notably, he has since updated to v3, but I haven't had the opportunity to verify how this newer design fits with my existing configuration. Further details can be found on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1517120. To address any potential wire management needs, a file has also been included that can be mounted to the carriage as a wire tie mount point. Several users have inquired about the functionality of my end stops, and I'm happy to clarify that they will depend on your specific printer configuration. To provide insight into how these end stops are mounted, a couple of images showcasing my own setup have been included for reference.
