C Battery Box
prusaprinters

Here is a battery box designed to hold four 'C' batteries. Durable and secure storage.
I use this to keep the spare batteries I use for portable radios (an old Broadmoor multiband radio, a Longines World Traveler multiband radio, and a newer Radio Shack AM-FM-SW-Weather radio).

Similar setup as my AAA Battery Case ( but is a 2x2 case, rather than a 4x1 case).

Friction fit cap, with .05mm radius clearance. Slides and holds great!

I printed this in PETG, but PLA would work equally well, as should whatever favorite filament you may choose.

Print instructions

Category: Tool Holders & Boxes Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: i3 MK3

Resolution: .30 layer height

Infill: 10% Rectilinear

Filament: Prusa PETG any
Notes:

Print time. 3 hours with my printer at .30 layer height and .40mm nozzle.

STL files were put through Netfabb for 'cleaning' before posting.

How I Designed This

Designed this is Fusion 360. Just changed a couple parameters on the AAA Batter Case and had this ready to print almost immediately.
Delighted to find a perfect fit for batteries and lid, first print.

I'm beginning to really appreciate parametric modelling!

Related Design

See also: AA Battery Box for three AA Batteries.

See also: 3AAA Battery Box for three AAA batteries.

See also: AAA Battery Box for four AAA batteries.
