C-3PO Antenna

A detailed replica of C3PO's iconic head antenna, carefully crafted from images found online and my own original model. This design serves as a versatile replacement or an impressive addition to any costume, featuring intricate details that showcase its authenticity. Created using 123D Design, this model has undergone extensive testing in both vertical and horizontal orientations. When printed upright, however, it reveals a vulnerability along the central axis, prone to breaking under minimal stress (as evident from the accompanying photographs). On the other hand, printing the antenna horizontally results in a slightly textured surface on its lower edge. Despite these limitations, I firmly believe that adjusting the print settings can mitigate these issues significantly. Personally, I prefer the horizontal orientation due to its ability to conceal any imperfections by positioning them against the rest of the headpiece.
