BÜRO NORTH style Tree

BÜRO NORTH style Tree

thingiverse

The CNC millable tree design showcases the creativity of Australian Interdisciplinary Design Group Buro North, whose projects never cease to impress (check out their work at http://buronorth.com/projects/project/buro-north-x-mas-tree). This workshop activity focused on CAD and fabrication, with no claim to ownership of the design's rights. The design is particularly helpful for CAD beginners as it allows them to pattern their desired shapes into branches (using circles in this case, but hexagons are also possible) using 8mm foamex board, a rigid, lightweight, and easily machinable material. To create two trees, assemble the eight tree panels, a five-slot joint, and a three-slot joint.
