Börre - Minimalistic drill
thingiverse
This was an academic project at Norway's NTNU Gløshaugen campus. Five students collaborated on this team effort. The assignment required following the product development process and performing all necessary calculations related to manufacturing, environmental impact, and other factors. The team designed the entire product from scratch using NX software by Siemens. The primary goal of 3D printing this model was to gain a deeper understanding of material efficiency and design flaws. This project taught us a lot, and I'm excited for upcoming projects. Note: This is a drill model created through 3D printing. It's not operational on its own, but with additional parts, it could potentially function properly. Due to the components' low tolerance, high-resolution (low layer height) printing was necessary to achieve accurate results.
