Byte Frost Goggle Strap Mount for Ground Station
prusaprinters
This is mount plugs into the back of the Byte Frost Ground Station (GS) unit where the battery would normally go and allows it to be clipped to the back of the Goggle strap such that you do not need to be tethered to a tripod.I built a Y power cord which plugs a battery in my pockted to both the goggles and the ground station, looking at the specs you can use a 2-3S battery pack to power both devices. This is still a work in progress and does require you use antennas on the GS with long pigtail, soomething like the Lumenier Axii 2 Long Range antennas.I printed the battery mount with the nubs on the print bed and the goggle strap clip vertical with a about an 8mm brim so it wouldn't fail as it got higher. After cleanning up I used Loctite Superglue to glued the 2 pieces together, used a fair amount of glue and spread it all on the clip part once completely covered I then placed it on the top of the other piece and centered and held it for a few seconds until it doesn't move then leave for a while to cure.
