BYD Car Remote key holder
thingiverse
BYD car remote key holder is designed to prevent accidental opening of the car's doors while it's in my pocket, and it has done so with ease for over 6 months now. Printed from stl files using ABS and PLA materials on both the Cubex by 3D Systems and Mojo by Stratasys, all three parts assembled perfectly. This model makes a great test subject for 3D printer accuracy when creating product prototypes. Printer Settings: * Brand: 3D Systems * Printer: Cube X * Rafts: None * Supports: None * Resolution: 0.1 mm * Infill: 100% Notes: For the Cube x 3D printer, I sliced the stl file using Kisslicer v1.5 rc2 Beta with CubitMod 4.91. Arrange all three parts on the print bed correctly and supports are not necessary. For the Mojo 3D printer, simply use their print wizard. Assembly Instructions: To assemble it properly, you will need: * Two springs similar to those found in a spring-loaded ballpoint pen * Super glue Insert the springs into their slots before sliding the movable part into its place. Use super glue to fix the top cover in its permanent position.
