Copter Vibrations ===================================== Vibrations can affect Copter stability and performance, making it hard to maintain smooth flights. Identifying Vibrations ----------------------- 1. **Throttle Back**: Sudden vibrations will be evident if you suddenly slow the motors. This test will allow you to determine if the problem lies with your motors or other equipment. 2. **Vibration During Climb**: Hold a steady altitude and watch for excessive wobbling at full power. Reducing Vibrations ------------------- ### Check Your Frame Ensure that all screws, plates, and arms are secure. * Motors should be well-balanced. * Proper weight distribution is crucial; place any extra mass in the centre. * Verify no sharp objects may be causing issues. ### Mount Components Carefully Be careful when placing components close to motors: 1. ESC's must be a significant distance away. 2. Install FPV systems, radios, and batteries above motor levels to prevent contact with hot or moving parts. 3. Antennas should not interfere with motors. Additional Remedies ------------------- ### Reducing Pitch/Roll Attitude Threshold To avoid unwanted motor spinning up: 1. Decrease "Pitch/ Roll Angle" value in Config tab 2. Reduce your yaw rates (damping settings).
