BX-25 Shell Winchester Logo Version (revised)

This is a basic shell for the BX-25 magazine with a Winchester Logo.  It is just a cover. This is meant for Winchester Wildcat users who use the Ruger BX-25 mag and want a different logo on the mag. (The Turkish Wildcat that takes 10-22 mags not the older one.)I got the W from a picture and made a logo out of it.This is a basic shell for the BX-25 10-22   I left a little room at the top for the front mag release on the Wildcat.  It is a little clunky but it works with your off hand.It is just a cover.  Add your own logos to my blank original if you want to make your own.  Have fun with different colors.  I will have some other remixes with logos.  Since the BX-25 is a big magazine I tried to make it as thin as possible so the magazine isn't that much bigger.  It should not affect magazine function but test it before using it in an SD situation.I have provided basic STL/OBJ files and 3MF files.  Print in PLA PLUS or better.  Do not use regular PLA or it will break.  There is some tension on this so that it doesn't slide around on the magazine.After printing be careful removing supports near the lower sides by the pegs. The pegs help to hold it on the magazine by sticking into the lower screw holes in the mag.Make sure the two pegs inside the shell halves are clear of any residue/supports etc..  The left hand shell peg has a hole in the middle.  Make sure that is clear. To assemble you will need two M3-30 screws for the upper holes and one M3-35 Screw for the bottom hole.  Use round hex head screws and three M3 nuts.  Before you put it on the mag you need to “seat” the nuts.  Take one side of the shell and use a screw to “pull” the nuts into the holes (see pictures)  Tighten the bolts so the nuts pull down into the plastic below the surface.  Don't over tighten. The ring around the nut in the plastic may crack, but it won't affect anything.  After the three nuts are in the one side, put the two halves on the mag making sure the pegs go in at the bottom.  Then put the screws in and tighten.  Don't over tighten it.  There may be a slight gap in the back.See my other BX-25 remixes for other logos or add your own to the original model.
