BWP-2000 IFV

BWP-2000 IFV

cults3d

Polish prototype of Infantry fighting vehicle designed by OKB-40 and OBRUM in late '80s to replace the old fashioned soviet transports. Two prototypes were built in early 1997, one of them ready for combat. The BWP-2000 project was abandoned near 2005 in order to produce the KTO Rosomak. With a mass of 30 tonnes, the BWP-2000 main weapon was a 60mm Oto-Melara autocannon. As secondary weapon had a 7.62 PKT in the main hatch. Another good option for a realistic and heavily armored chimera proxy :)
