Buzzworthy Origins Bumblebee is a neat figure...but he could do with a couple of add-ons. I'm going to start with organizing those f--ckin' energy conductors, lol, and branch out from there. Upgrade #1 is a clip system that allows you to attach the energy conductors to Bumblebee via a 5 mm port. Think of it as an energy conductor bandolier. The clip system consists of a series of interlocking segments. Each segment has one clip that can hold one energy conductor. You can add segments to hold additional conductors. And, you need to make sure at least one of the segments has a 5 mm post so the whole thing can get attached to the Bee. After printing, the bandolier can flex at the joints where the segments connect to one another. I provided STL files for an entire 5-segment bandolier ready-to-print as well as individual segments of varying configurations so you can assemble your own custom setup, as desired. It is easiest to arrange the segments in their proper positions within your slicing software and then print the entire bandolier in one shot. No supports are required when you print it out like this. The design is optimized for printing at a layer height of 0.1 mm. Using a different layer height may result in the segments becoming fused together during printing. That might not be the end of the world, but it will prevent the segments from flexing at the joints. After printing, allow the part to cool completely, and then gently flex the segments at the joints until they move freely. You may need to give it a couple tries before you get one that flexes properly without breaking. I recommend printing at a temperature near the low end of the temperature range for the filament you are using. This will reduce the likelihood of the segments becoming fused together during the print.
