Buzzsaw Vase
thingiverse
I'm a maker, and I crafted this buzzsaw vase from scratch. It stands at an impressive 7 1/4 inches tall. To get the best printing results, use "Vase Mode" in your slicer software. This ensures you're using the right printing method for this design. If you're working with Cura, switch to "Spiral Contour" and set the infill to zero percent to achieve the desired effect. For optimal results, set the bottom layers to 1.2mm thick. With a layer height of 0.2mm, the base will be six layers deep. When done correctly, this vase should hold water without any issues. In person, the buzzsaw vase looks even more impressive than its photos suggest. The top is small and delicate, while the base provides stability due to its flat shape. Despite what the pictures show, it's actually a large vase with a diameter of over two inches. Use your preferred material - PLA, ABS, PETG, or TPU will all work fine. Just remember to dry your filament in the oven beforehand to prevent bubbles and achieve a smooth finish. I designed this buzzsaw vase using Fusion 360, a powerful tool that allowed me to bring my vision to life. I hope you enjoy it!
