Summary Repurposed the small blower wheel design and transformed it into an interactive string and button toy. Modified version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:68795 was created using Customizer! Customization settings used: RING_HEIGHT = 1 FAN_HEIGHT = 8 RING_WIDTH = 6 BLADE_COUNT = 30 FAN_WIDTH = 50 SHAFT_DIAMETER = 1 BLADE_WIDTH = 1 BLADE_ANGLE = 0 Instructions Using the following options: RING_HEIGHT was set to 1 FAN_HEIGHT was adjusted to 8 RING_WIDTH was fixed at 6 The number of blades, BLADE_COUNT, was increased to 30 A wider fan width, FAN_WIDTH, of 50 was selected The shaft diameter, SHAFT_DIAMETER, remained at 1 Blade width, BLADE_WIDTH, was kept at 1 Blade angle, BLADE_ANGLE, was set to 0 This project was successfully printed on a Makerbot 5th gen with the following settings: raft, no support, standard resolution, 2 skins, and no fill.
