Buzz Bee Torrent Nerf-Style Stock Attachment Point
prusaprinters
This is a modification part I’ve made to improve the feel of the Buzz Bee Torrent. I’ve always loved the look and function of the Buzz Bee Torrent, and a while back I found one for a good price, so I decided to pick it up. I decided I wanted to make some replacement grips for the blaster, and as I began working on those parts, I thought it might be fun to be able to attach a Nerf stock to the blaster, so I threw that into the mix as well. I did my best to imitate the look of the original parts as much as possible and I’m pretty happy with the results. My goal was to have the parts be able to be attached without any permanent internal or external modifications to the blaster, and I’m happy to say that I was able to accomplish that goal! The stock attachment point parts can be screwed together around the existing geometry of the shell and are designed to use three 11/32” long 2-56 screws. Toy screws should work as well if you have any extras on hand, although they may be a bit harder to screw in. The Torrent won’t be winning performance awards anytime soon, but this part hopefully makes this novel blaster a little more fun to use. I had a great time making and using this part, and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!
