Buttstock, Scope For Repeating Mini Crossbow

Skeletonized buttstock and "red dot"-style crosshair sight for the DIYPark Repeating Mini Crossbow (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2725597). The scope snaps on and off with 6 nubs positioned over corresponding oval slots on the crossbow body. Attach the buttstock to back cap with epoxy, or merge buttstock model with back cap and print as one piece. Crossbow build tips are available. To assemble the crossbow, a lot of fitting is required using sandpaper, files, Dremel tool, drill bits. A 5/32" bit is used on pin holes. I used a pointed round file on side notches where bowstring catches until it released smoothly with each trigger pull. The printed crossbow body is approximately 10mm wide. To fit my print snugly, I scaled back cap width to 110%. The front clip opening is 9mm wide and needed resizing as well. Filing and sanding both sides of mating surfaces are required to fit dovetails. To assemble the 3-piece front clip and right/left limb takes a bit of work. Instead, merging the front clip and limbs and printing them as a single piece is recommended. Scaling the limb height to 8.5mm allows it to be printed without supports. The ramp on the trigger is too low and steep to work reliably. Modifying the ramp portion of the trigger model is necessary. Rescaling it so that the ramp is 0.5-1mm higher and filing until it releases reliably may also work. Other crossbow accessories of interest include an optical-style scope (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2931205) and a storage case with ammo/bolts (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3269538).
