Button presser - Robot Arm
myminifactory
This robot arm has a fascinating tale behind it! I built this robot with one thing in mind: impressing that girl I'm crushing on at university. I remembered how inconvenient it was during presentations when we needed someone to switch the slides for us, and I decided to create a solution. The bot is designed to click the next button on the keyboard to swap slides seamlessly. Watch it in action here: https://bit.ly/2UjnSk8 I'm thrilled that she was impressed, but unfortunately, our paths didn't cross again . Still, this project is an awesome way to share my creativity with you all. To bring this bot to life, I used an Arduino Mega and a Bluetooth shield for wireless control. The bot is positioned in front of the next button on the keyboard, so when it lowers down, it presses the button flawlessly. Check it out here: https://bit.ly/2UjnSk8 For movement, I employed three servos: * 2 MG995 servos * 1 Micro servo Since I only needed one servo to lower the bot for the keyboard, I left the other two unused – but they're ready for future missions!
