BUTTON - HATCHET

I called it the “hatchet” because the shape of the hole reminds me of an old double sided hatchet.

This button is Size L32 (20mm diameter) designed to be scaled with the use of your slicer.

There's no need to stick with my colour, but sew it on using a colourful thread of a contrasting colour - simply loop multiple threads through the holes to create a bar effect. For a bit of extra zing and an enamelled look, clear coat with acrylic.

The printed examples and gcode have been prouced using a 0.4mm nozzle printed at the standard "0.1mm Detail" setting on Prusa Slicer, with top fill pattern set to “Concentric”.

Printed with Prusament "comes with the machine silver" and "made for Prusa PLA White then (the glossy ones) finished with six coats of clear acrylic with no other surface pre finishing.

The photo with three buttons illustrates the differences between, off the printer silver and the clear finished silver and white prints, which take on a lovely enamelled look.

I think that silver has a very underserved reputation for being a poor choice. Look at it here and change your mind!

I shouldn't have to add, but I will, that cold or warm wash only will ensure that your buttons remain buttons.

My other buttons may be found here:https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/79444-peter-h/collections/110372
