On the Gioteck HF-2 game controller for PS3, this button replaces the original D pad. By swapping it out, you can enjoy improved functionality, especially when playing sniper games. The new feature allows zooming in/out without triggering other D-pad actions simultaneously. To install, turn over the controller, remove the seven bottom screws (one is hidden in the battery compartment), and take off the two holding the original D-pad.
