<p>I had a hard time obtaining the official marking tools for the Button-Fix panel fasteners, so I designed this alternative myself. Since this does not have metal tips and (even when printed in PETG) is unlikely to be strong enough to cause indentations in your panel, you need to find another way to actually mark the tips: For me, covering the tips with black dry-erase marker worked well.&nbsp;</p><p>Depending on your printer's tolerances, this should be a relatively snug friction fit. For a simpler and cleaner print, the tips of for the type 2 tool are designed as separate pieces and need to be glued onto the main body. &nbsp;The source Fusion 360 file is attached if you want to fiddle with the dimensions.</p><h5>Printing recommendations:</h5><p>I printed these in PETG, but PLA probably would do as well. Since I cared more about speed than quality, I printed them with a 0.8mm nozzle with 0.3mm layer height. The type 1 tips should be printed with a brim.</p>
