Button Cap for Thermador CVS36RS Down Draft
thingiverse
This is a pretty specialized item :) I have a Thermador Down Draft in my kitchen, part number CVS36RS/01. It has a switch, part number 00189968. This switch basically melted inside and so the unit would cycle up and down continuously. The new switch is stupidly expensive - around $100. It's basically a $2 part. I searched online and found a "close enough" switch from the same manufacturer: Judco 40-4169-00 I picked up that switch from Digi-Key (2 for less than $7), and the only problem is that it doesn't work with the old push button insert. This part solves that problem :) In case you want to modify the original, I created this in OnShape: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/d8f850b53263176391773e88/w/b31a915a8b7584d8f4237002/e/ecd9f9f23ad6f9f962d83f21
