I've got an '87 BMW K100 RT that recently slimmed down and was experiencing some trouble with the right-hand cluster/starter kill switch being unpredictable. My bike's got clip-ons in the front end, and the original gauge cluster is now mounted lower where it belongs. The part I'm working with is the one that holds the key switch and four other switches - its holes are a snug 11.75 MM in size, and the key switch itself is a standard generic blade-style unit. So far, it fits perfectly onto the forks without any issues, but I plan on swapping out all the switches and key anyway for some peace of mind.
