Butterfly Knife
thingiverse
Butterfly Knife models for printing without a real blade. Handles in two parts, glue together with acetone/ ABS Slurry, hinges built in. Switchable handle and blade designs. Instructions Print pieces individually, one at a time. After removing rafts, assemble the knife by placing the hinges of the handle bottoms through the holes in the blade, ensure that the blade can fit in the centre of the handles. Also note that handles should face opposite directions. Coat the extruded surfaces of one handle bottom with Acetone/ABS Slurry (Do not coat the hinge), Place the handle top on the coated surface and apply pressure for 30 seconds while applying Acetone/ABS Slurry to the sides of this bond. Repeat for the other handle. You can switch the Handle Top with the Alternate to indicate bite and safe side if you're really that serious about it. Blade can be swapped out for the two alternate versions.
